The Use of the Term ‘Dhamma’ in the Tipitka

What the Buddha taught during His forty-five years of missionary life is designated with the term ‘Dhamma’. The Buddha’s journey towards Sāvatthi was for establishing the wheel of the Dhamma (DhammacakkaM pavattetuM), in this context the term directly meant the teaching that are directly related to the realization of Nibbāna, yet the term Dhamma has been used in the Tipi aka to denote more concepts than what is mentioned above.
