The term ArahaM has three meanings
1. A + rahaM – no + secrets: The Buddhas and the Arahants don’t perform ill deeds neither in open nor in secrets.
2. Ara + haM – defilements + destroyed: The Buddha and the Arahants have destroyed defilements completely.
3. ArahaM – Worthy to offer
