This is the second of VinayapiTaka. It has another name saddhapAcittiya. It consists of remaining sets of rules for monks and nuns. The remaining rules are pAcittiya, patidesanIya, sekhiya and adhikaraNasamatha and the corresponding disciplinary rules for nuns.
1. PAcittiya
There are ninety two rules under the classification of pAcittiya offence for monks and hundred sixty six for nuns. These ninety two rulers were grouped into nine sections. Some examples can be seen as: Telling a lie deliberately is pAcittiya offence, a bhikkhu who sleeps under the same roof and within the same wall along with woman commits offence.
2. PAtidesanIya
There are four pAtidesanIya offences for monks while there are eight for nuns. The pAtidesanIya rules were promulgated with related to accepting and eating alms-food offered to. For the first time these rules were instructed by the Buddha with incident of a monk was going on alms round with nuns accepted alms what a nun received in her alms round offered to him and he took all. Not only one or two days it happened four days continuity due to that the nun fainted and fell down through weakness .
3. Sekhiya
There are seventy five sekhiya rules laid with purpose of good behaviour of monks and nuns and not only they are for those but it is applicable to novices who are seeking admission to the order. There are four group divided in relevant to their mode of behaviour. In first group there are twenty six in concerning going in towns and villages. With related to polite manners to be in accepting and eating alms are classified under second group. In this group there are thirty rules. In the third classification there are sixteen rules in related to preaching the dhmma to disrespect people. In last category only three rules were there in concern about answering call of nature.

4. Rules of Disciplinary for Nuns
This is the last category of the first book of VinayapiTaka. In this chapter it is recorded that the rules what were promulgated for nuns. In the disciplinary rules eight categories were grouped for monks but for nuns seven were there. The åniyata was not promulgated for nuns by the Buddha. I had mentioned the rules for monks as well as nuns in each explanation of rules. Here in chart you can see more clearly and can easy to keep in mind.
